Bounties: $525 in USDC for four agent-framework integrations with our x402 API
October 23, 2026
We will pay $150 to the builder of the first integration that passes our check and $125 each for the next three. We pay for building, never for calling.

What we are paying for
We want our x402 API to be easy to reach from the agent frameworks people already use, and we would rather pay people who work in them every day than guess at their conventions. This is one round of four bounties, $525 in total, paid in USDC on Base. The round closes at 11:59 PM Central on 31 December 2026.
The bounty depends on the order in which claims pass our check, not on the framework: the first claim to pass is paid $150, and each of the next three is paid $125.
| Framework | What to build |
|---|---|
| Coinbase AgentKit | An action provider |
| ElizaOS | A plugin |
| LangChain | A tool |
| CrewAI or Cloudflare Agents | A CrewAI integration or a Cloudflare Agents example, whichever passes the check first |
The API in one paragraph
Blockchain IQ sells crypto data and research to software agents, one request at a time. There is no account and no API key. An unpaid request returns HTTP 402 with the price; the agent pays in USDC on Base using the x402 standard and gets JSON back. The free catalogue at https://www.blockchainiq.co/api/x402/v1 lists every resource, price and response shape, and our explainer at https://www.blockchainiq.co/blog/pay-per-call-crypto-data-x402 covers how a call works.
What counts as shipped
- brief ($0.01) Prices and recent moves for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and XRP, the scheduled events in the next 48 hours, and short risk flags. It takes no parameters.
- event-risk ($0.05) US data releases, central bank decisions, Treasury auctions and dated crypto and regulatory milestones, seven days ahead by default, each with its official source.
An integration qualifies when it is a public repository with a working paid call through x402 to one of those two resources. One working paid call is enough, and the cheapest test call, to brief, costs one cent; a 404 or an error response is never charged. The /agents page at https://www.blockchainiq.co/agents has a copy-paste Node example that makes a paid call with @x402/fetch and prints the proof of settlement, including the transaction hash, from the PAYMENT-RESPONSE header. We credit every qualifying integration on our blog, with a link to its repository.
How to claim
- Email partnerships@blockchainiq.co with:
- 1. the link to your public repository;
- 2. the framework you are claiming;
- 3. the settlement transaction hash of a paid call to brief or event-risk made by your integration;
- 4. the name or handle you want credited; and
- 5. the Base address to pay.
How we check a claim
- 1. We match the transaction hash, and the wallet that paid, against our purchase log.
- 2. We read the repository's code and its dependencies before we run anything.
- 3. We run the repository in an isolated, clean environment with no secrets and a throwaway wallet, and watch it make the paid call to brief or event-risk.
- 4. We tell you the result, pass or fail.
We check claims in the order they arrive in the partnerships@blockchainiq.co inbox, by the time our mail system receives them. The first claim that passes the check takes the $150. A claim that fails goes to the back of the line: when you send a corrected version, it is queued by the time that new email arrives, not by the time of your first one.
Payment and closing date
Jeremy Green pays winners personally, from his own Coinbase account, in USDC on Base, to the address in your claim, within 3 days of your claim passing the check. The round closes at 11:59 PM Central on 31 December 2026, and a slot nobody has claimed by then lapses.
The rules
- Building, not calling. We pay for building, never for calling: no rebates, no volume bonuses, no credit for call counts.
- One slot, one payout. Each framework slot pays once, to the first claim for it that passes, and one builder can claim at most two.
- Ours are out. Packages that Blockchain IQ builds itself are not eligible.
