Terms of Service.
Effective September 9, 2026
The short version
We publish research, not advice. We are not your financial adviser, and nothing we write is a recommendation tailored to you. Every investment decision you make is yours.
What you buy is a license to read it, not to republish it. Keep it to yourself and your own use.
We stand behind our work, but not against the market. If we do get something wrong, what you can recover from us is capped at what you paid us.
This summary is here to be useful, not to be binding. Where it and the detail below disagree, the detail below wins.
1.Who you’re dealing with
Blockchain IQ is a service of GJL Digital Investments, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “Blockchain IQ” mean that company; “you” means the person or entity using the service.
These terms apply to the website at www.blockchainiq.co, the client portal, and everything we publish through them. By creating an account, buying anything, or otherwise using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use the service.
2.What Blockchain IQ is — and what it isn’t
We publish data-driven, analyst-verified research on digital assets: ledgers, cryptocurrencies, protocols, Web3, funds, ETFs, IPOs, NFTs, and real-world assets. It is general-circulation research, written for a broad readership.
This is not financial advice, and we are not financial advisors. GJL Digital Investments, LLC is not a financial advisor and is not registered as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or commodity trading advisor with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, or any state or foreign regulator. Nothing we publish is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice; a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset; or an offer or solicitation to do so.
Our research is not tailored to your financial situation, objectives, tax position, or risk tolerance, and we have no way of knowing what those are. It is information for you to weigh, alongside everything else you know, before you decide anything.
Digital assets are volatile and speculative. Prices can fall to zero. Protocols fail, get exploited, and get abandoned. Past performance tells you very little about future returns. You can lose some or all of what you put in, and you alone bear that risk. If you need advice about your own circumstances, talk to a licensed professional who can take them into account.
3.Positions and independence
Blockchain IQ and the people who work on it may hold positions in digital assets we write about, and those positions may change at any time without notice.
We do not accept payment from any project, protocol, issuer, exchange, or foundation in exchange for coverage, for a favorable conclusion, or for the timing of publication. Where a commercial relationship exists with someone we cover — a partnership, an affiliate arrangement, or anything similar — we will disclose it alongside the research in question.
4.Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You may not use the service if you are barred from doing so under the laws of the United States, Wyoming, or the place you are accessing it from, or if you appear on a U.S. sanctions list.
Give us accurate information when you sign up and keep it current. You are responsible for your credentials and for everything that happens under your account. Accounts are for one person — don’t share logins. Tell us promptly at help@blockchainiq.co if you think someone else has gotten into your account.
5.What you get, and what you may do with it
When you buy access to research, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to read and use it for your own purposes, including your own investment decisions. That’s the whole of the license.
You may not:
- republish, redistribute, post, forward, or resell our research, in whole or in substantial part, to anyone else;
- share your account, or provide access to research you bought to people who didn’t buy it;
- scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site, or use automated means to extract our content;
- use our research or data to train, fine-tune, or ground a machine-learning model, or to build a competing research or data product;
- strip out attribution, or present our work as your own or as anyone else’s.
Quoting a short passage with attribution and a link back is fine — that’s normal and we welcome it. Reproducing a report so your subscribers don’t have to buy one is not.
6.Intellectual property
The research, the site, the software behind it, and the Blockchain IQ name and marks belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other law. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any of it to you.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything for them.
7.Prices, payment, and taxes
Prices are shown at the point of purchase and are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time; a change never applies retroactively to something you have already bought.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We don’t see or store your full card details — Stripe does, under its own terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for any tax on your purchase that isn’t collected at checkout.
If a payment fails, is reversed, or is charged back, we may suspend access until it is resolved. See our refund policy for how refunds and chargebacks work.
8.Third-party data
Our research draws on third-party market data, on-chain data, and public filings. We choose our sources carefully and verify what we publish, but we do not control those sources and cannot guarantee that their data is complete, accurate, or current. Outages, revisions, and errors upstream are a normal part of this field.
Where we link out to third-party sites or services, we are not responsible for them or for what they do with your information.
9.Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service up and the research coming, but we don’t promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service. If we discontinue something you have paid for and have not yet received, we will refund the unfulfilled portion.
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will post the new effective date here and, where we have your email, tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
10.Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time by writing to help@blockchainiq.co.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms — particularly the redistribution limits in section 5 — or if we are required to by law. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of anything you have prepaid. Sections 2, 3, 6, 11, 12, 13, and 15 survive termination.
11.Disclaimer of warranties
The service and the research are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or trade usage.
We do not warrant that our research is complete or free of error, that the service will be uninterrupted or secure, or — and this is the important one — that any analysis, projection, or conclusion we publish will turn out to be correct. Analysis is a judgment about an uncertain future. Ours are made carefully and in good faith. They will sometimes be wrong.
12.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither we nor our members, officers, or contractors are liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost trading gains, trading losses, or lost data, arising out of or relating to the service or the research — even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
Some jurisdictions don’t allow some of these exclusions. Where that is so, they apply to the maximum extent the law allows and the rest stands.
13.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of anyone else’s rights — including any claim arising from research you redistributed in breach of section 5.
14.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming, and each of us waives any objection to venue there.
Before filing anything, please write to help@blockchainiq.co and give us thirty days to try to sort it out. Most things can be.
15.Everything else
These terms, together with the refund policy, are the entire agreement between us about the service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing something isn’t a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
16.Contact
