The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance token (FET) represents the 2024 merger of Fetch.ai's autonomous-agent network, SingularityNET's decentralized AI marketplace and Ocean Protocol's data infrastructure into a single AI-token ecosystem. A security incident in September 2026 — a compromised signing key on SingularityNET's Ethereum-Cardano bridge — drained roughly 8.7 million FET and let an attacker mint hundreds of millions of AGIX and NTX tokens, prompting Fetch.ai to pause AGIX-to-FET conversions as a precaution even as FET's own contracts and transfers continued operating normally.
