Dash (DASH)

Dash is a payments-oriented proof-of-work fork of Bitcoin that layers a masternode network on top of mining to deliver instant, reorg-resistant transactions. In August 2026 the project shipped its biggest technical shift since Evolution launched — zero-knowledge shielded transactions on its Evolution mainnet, adapting Zcash's Orchard cryptography — followed in early September by its first official conference since 2019 and a Platform v1.1 mainnet upgrade adding decentralized storage and usernames.
